 | Cypress Cypress is known for its durability
and resistance to insects, rotting, and decay. It is considered to be a clean wood (meaning little to no knots), which makes it
a superior choice for outdoor patio furniture. It is a beautiful wood with tannish-yellow to light reddish tones. Cypress is a
resinous wood; however, it is not tacky or sticky. Its resin, called Cypressene, makes it very durable against moisture and decay. Cypress
takes to adhesives well. It accepts screws very easily and sands very nicely. It accepts stains beautifully and holds up well in
all kinds of weather conditions. |
